  • Zahra kazemi scandal: bill graham, canada's minister of foreign affairs announces that ms. kazemi has been buried in iran against her family's will. canada has therefore recalled its ambassador in iran.
  • Johannes koskinen (finnish minister of justice) suggested that brothels could be legalized for people with disabilities. the minister of justice in finland, johannes koskinen, received a very angry response from organizations for the handicapped. 66% of ilta-sanomat newspaper readers believed that prostitution should be controlled by the state.
