  • 03 Jun 2015 Saudi Arabian-led intervention into Yemen: A coalition led by Saudi Arabia launches airstrikes against military bases near Yemen's capital Sanaa.
  • 04 Jun 2015 Numerous rockets fired from Gaza towards Israel were aimed at the cities of Ashdod and Netivot. The IDF responded by launching airstrikes against Gaza's empty Hamas training camps.

  • 06 Jun 2015 Saudi Arabian-led intervention is in Yemen: According to Saudi State media, Saudi Arabia downed a Scud missile fired in Yemen by Houthi rebels. According to the Saudi government, at least four soldiers from Saudi Arabian Army and "dozens" of members of Yemeni Republican Guard were killed in fighting near the border.

  • 10 Jun 2015 The Karnak temple in Luxor, an ancient Egyptian city, is the target of a suicide bomber. Two militants were killed nearby. Four tourists were not hurt by the attack.
  • 11 Jun 2015 Military intervention against ISIL: An American citizen who was fighting with the Kurdish People's Protection Units, (YPG), against ISIL is killed in action close to Kobani.
  • 12 Jun 2015 Boko Haram insurgency: Boko Haram militants raid five different villages around Maiduguri, Nigeria killing 37 people.
  • 13 Jun 2015 Afghanistan War: 20 police officers killed by Taliban in attack on Helmand, Afghanistan.
  • 14 Jun 2015 NATO airstrike kills 15 Taliban militants in Afghanistan, including the shadow governor of Kunar Province.
  • 15 Jun 2015 Suspected Boko Haram members attack N'Djamena's police headquarters and training centres, killing at least 23 people and injuring more than 100 others.
  • 16 Jun 2015 Al-Qaeda insurgency in Yemen: Al-Qaeda in Arabian Peninsula announces the death of its leader Nasser al-Wuhayshi in a drone strike by the United States last Friday.

  • 18 Jun 2015 To avenge the twin bombings that occurred in N'Djamena, Chad's capital three days ago, the Chadian Air Force launches airstrikes against Boko Haram bases in Nigeria.
  • 19 Jun 2015 An affiliated Palestinian cell with Hamas, named after the murderers of Israeli teens in 2014 kidnappings and murders, claims responsibility for the ambush-style attack that resulted in one Israeli being killed and the other seriously injured.
  • 20 Jun 2015 Second Libyan Civil War - Dozens of ISIL militants were killed in a militia attack against Derna, the easternmost city. Since the end of 2014, ISIL has been a prominent presence in Derna.

  • 22 Jun 2015 Afghanistan War (2001-present). Gunmen attack the Afghan National Assembly Building after a suicide bombing. Six of the gunmen are killed and 18 others are injured.
  • 23 Jun 2015 Syrian Civil War, Military Intervention against ISIL: The Kurdish People's Protection Units, (YPG), capture Brigade 93 military base and enter Ayn Issa. This is the first defense line of ISIL North of its de facto capital al-Raqqah.
  • 24 Jun 2015 Boko Haram: More than 42 people were killed by suspected Boko Haram gunmen during two attacks on villages in Nigeria’s Borno state.
  • 25 Jun 2015 Syrian Civil War: After a large-scale, successful counterattack against the Kurds, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant forces enter the Kurdish city of Kobani.
  • 26 Jun 2015 Somali Civil War: Al Shabaab militants attack a base of the African Union in Leego, Somalia. They kill more than 70 African Union soldiers before seizing control of the military base.
  • 27 Jun 2015 Three soldiers and eight attackers were killed when Islamist militants attacked an army base in Nara (Mali).
  • 28 Jun 2015 2015 Sousse Attacks: Tunisia has added 1000 police officers to its beaches and resorts following Friday's terrorist attack. (AP) With the British death toll expected to rise to 30, the U.K. advises citizens not to travel to Tunisia's south or near the Libyan border. (AP),
  • 29 Jun 2015 Turkish involvement in the Syrian Civil War. The Turkish military is said to be preparing for an invasion of northern Syria after a meeting of the National Security Council. It is hoped to create a buffer zone for refugees, and then drive back Islamic State militants. The Kurdish militia group YPG has stated that they will not accept any Turkish intervention in Syria. Turkey has fought for years against Kurdish separatist movements like the PKK.
  • 30 Jun 2015 Al-Qaeda Insurgency in Yemen: Around 1,200 people escaped from Yemeni Prisons, including al Qaeda Members.
  • 03 Jun 2015 An explosion at a gasoline station in Accra, Ghana, kills more than 200 people.
