  • 03 Jun 2015 Saudi Arabian-led intervention into Yemen: A coalition led by Saudi Arabia launches airstrikes against military bases near Yemen's capital Sanaa.
  • 04 Jun 2015 Numerous rockets fired from Gaza towards Israel were aimed at the cities of Ashdod and Netivot. The IDF responded by launching airstrikes against Gaza's empty Hamas training camps.

  • 26 Jun 2015 Somali Civil War: Al Shabaab militants attack a base of the African Union in Leego, Somalia. They kill more than 70 African Union soldiers before seizing control of the military base.

  • 29 Jun 2015 Turkish involvement in the Syrian Civil War. The Turkish military is said to be preparing for an invasion of northern Syria after a meeting of the National Security Council. It is hoped to create a buffer zone for refugees, and then drive back Islamic State militants. The Kurdish militia group YPG has stated that they will not accept any Turkish intervention in Syria. Turkey has fought for years against Kurdish separatist movements like the PKK.
  • 30 Jun 2015 Al-Qaeda Insurgency in Yemen: Around 1,200 people escaped from Yemeni Prisons, including al Qaeda Members.
