Battle of Mosul: Ravina Shamdasani, a spokeswoman for the United Nations Human Rights Council, says that ISIL militants killed 40 Iraqi Security Forces members on Saturday and then threw their bodies into the Tigris river. (Reuters) Iraqi Special Operations Forces have fought to reach the outskirts Mosul.
  • 02 Nov 2016 Search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. A new analysis by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau shows that nobody was in control of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 when it crashed into the southern Indian Ocean in 2014.
  • 03 Nov 2016 Afghanistan War (2001-present). Battle of Boz Qandahari. Two American military personnel, four Afghan Commandos and 30 civilians were killed in clashes against the Taliban in Kunduz, Afghanistan.
  • 04 Nov 2016 Kurdish-Turkish Conflict: At least 8 people are killed and up to 100 injured in a car bomb attack in Diyarbakir (Turkey).

  • 11 Nov 2016 Syrian Civil War: Armed opposition militias fired shells containing white phosphorus and chlorine at the 1070 Apartments project, Aleppo.
  • 12 Nov 2016 2016 Khuzdar bombing in Pakistan: A bomb blast in the Shah Noorani Shrine in Hub, Lasbela District of Balochistan, Pakistan killed at least 52 people and left more than 100 others injured. ISIL claimed responsibility. (The News) (GEO tv) (Daily Pakistan),
  • 13 Nov 2016 Conflict in Myanmar: Rohingya Insurgency in Western Myanmar: 8 people are killed, 36 are taken into custody in clashes between Myanmar Army and what are believed be Rohingya rebels in Rakhine State.
  • 14 Nov 2016 Terrorism is in Indonesia: In Samarinda, a child is killed and three more are injured in an attack.
  • 15 Nov 2016 Syrian Civil War: Four to 20 people have been killed in airstrikes by the government and Russia that struck rebel-held areas, five hospitals and an Aleppo mobile clinic, according to Elizabeth Trudeau, spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department. Russia and Syria deny that Aleppo was targeted.
  • 16 Nov 2016 Afghanistan War (2001-present). Four Afghan National Security Forces members are killed and eleven are injured in a suicide bomber attack on the Afghan Defense Ministry Headquarters in Kabul.
  • 17 Nov 2016 According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least ten people were killed in a car bomb attack in Azaz, Aleppo Governorate.
  • 18 Nov 2016 Conflict in Moro: At least 14 people are killed during clashes between suspected Abu Sayyaf militants from Sulu, Philippines.
  • 19 Nov 2016 Iraqi Civil War: ISIL insurgents killed at least 12 tribal fighters. Shirqat was the scene of the attack.
  • 20 Nov 2016 An attack by insurgent groups from Muse, Shan State on Tatmadaw checkpoints and police outposts in Myanmar has resulted in at least 8 deaths and over a dozen injuries. According to the State Counselor's Office, the attack was carried out by the Kachin Independence Army (Ta'ang National Liberation Army), Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDA) and other insurgent groups.
  • 21 Nov 2016 Yemeni Civil War (2015-present). A 48-hour ceasefire that is largely ineffective comes to an end as both sides continue fighting and violate the terms. At least 35 people are killed, 4 of them civilians.
  • 22 Nov 2016 TransAsia Airways' board decides to dissolve it after Tuesday's halt in flights.
  • 23 Nov 2016 2016 India-Pakistan military conflict: Pakistani officials claim that nine civilians were killed when cross-border Indian shelling struck their bus in Neelam valley, northeast of Muzaffarabad. Three Pakistani soldiers were also killed in other cross border firing incidents. (Reuters),
  • 24 Nov 2016 Colombian peace negotiations: After the collapse of the first one, the Colombian government and FARC rebels agree to a new agreement.
  • 25 Nov 2016 Legalization of cannabis: The legal sale of recreational marijuana is now allowed by Alaska's ballot measure 2.
  • 26 Nov 2016 Somali Civil War (2009-present: At least 20 people are killed by a car bomb in Mogadishu.
  • 27 Nov 2016 The entire Hanano district of eastern Aleppo has been captured by the Syrian Armed Forces. They are currently working to remove mines and improvised explosion devices. Rebels accuse the lack of hospitals of causing the collapsed defences.
  • 28 Nov 2016 Aleppo offensive (November 2016: More than a third captured by the rebel-controlled east Aleppo. Following the recent conquests, thousands of civilians fled to the government- and Kurdish controlled districts of the city. According to the United Nations, more than 250,000 civilians could still be trapped in rebel-held areas of the city.
  • 29 Nov 2016 Somali Civil War (2009-present). A bomb kills at most 4 Somali soldiers, and 11 more are injured.
  • 30 Nov 2016 Afghanistan War (2001-present). 16 Taliban militants were killed by Afghan security forces in Ghazni.
