  • 01 Nov 2015 Somali Civil War (2009-present). Islamist al Shabaab militants attacked a Mogadishu hotel, resulting in at most 12 deaths.
  • 02 Nov 2015 2015 Nepali fuel crisis: Police in Nepal shoot an Indian citizen as they try to clear protesters at a border crossing. The blockade has severely damaged relations between neighboring countries and caused fuel shortages in Nepal.
  • 03 Nov 2015 2014-15 India-Pakistan border skirmishes : At least two Indian soldiers were killed when Pakistani forces opened fire on the border de facto that divides Kashmir between Pakistan and India.
  • 04 Nov 2015 The British government is concerned that an "explosive device" caused the crash, and has suspended flights between the United Kingdom (UK) and Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.
  • 05 Nov 2015 Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that it is aware of reports that John Robert Gallagher (a Canadian citizen) was killed while fighting in Syria. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights John Robert Gallagher was killed fighting alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces against Islamic State militants, in the northeast Al-Hasakah Governorate. Gallagher, a former member of the Canadian Forces, served with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.
  • 06 Nov 2015 Conflict between Israel and Palestine (2015): Israeli forces kill and shoot a 72-year old woman in Halhul (a town near Hebron). According to soldiers, she tried to inflict injury on them by driving her car. Her son refutes this claim, claiming that his mother was just on her way to lunch with the sister. In two separate incidents in Hebron, three Israelis are later shot and seriously wounded.
  • 07 Nov 2015 Syrian Civil War: According to the Assyrian Human Rights Network, Islamic State militants have released 37 Syrian Christians, mostly women. They were among over 200 Assyrian minorities who were abducted in February. (AP) According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the death toll due to an airstrike against an IS-controlled eastern town near the border to Iraq increased from 25 to 71.
  • 08 Nov 2015 Yemeni Civil War (2015 to present): Houthi forces have retaken several positions in southern Yemen following a new offensive against coalition and loyalist forces. The Houthi forces have retaken Lahij, a province bordering Aden. They are now on a hill overlooking Al Anad Air Base which houses Sudanese forces. After hours of besieging the Damt District, the Houthis retook it in the Dhale Province. At least 16 people were also killed in the clashes.
  • 09 Nov 2015 Amman shooting attack: Two American instructors and one South African are killed by a Jordanian officer. The incident took place at Al-Muwaqar, an Al-Muwaqar police training center. It is located on the eastern outskirts Amman. U.S. contractors arrive at the facility to support Jordanian police trainers.
  • 10 Nov 2015 Sinai insurgency: Egypt’s Interior Ministry announces that Ashraf Ali Hassanein Al Gharabli, a senior figure in Islamic State's "Sinai Province," has been killed. He was also connected to terrorist groups and other extremist groups.
  • 11 Nov 2015 Syrian Civil War, Spillover from the Syrian Civil War. According to Syrian opposition groups, an Israeli Air Force conducted an airstrike close to Damascus International Airport in Syria's capital. The target was a weapon shipment that was reportedly meant for Hezbollah terrorist organization Lebanese.
  • 12 Nov 2015 Conflict between Israel and Palestine: Israeli agents disguised as Arabs, escorting a woman during labor, raid a hospital in Hebron (West Bank), seizing a Palestinian suspect of stabbing and killing his cousin.
  • 13 Nov 2015 Islamic State in Iraq & the Levant: United States airstrikes against Jihadi John, a Kuwaiti-British militant. Later, the U.S. stated that it was "reasonably certain," that Jihadi John, also known as Mohammed Emwazi, was killed in a drone strike in Syria.
  • 14 Nov 2015 The death toll from terrorist attacks on Paris is now at 129.
  • 15 Nov 2015 Ismael Mostefai (29-year-old) is one of the Paris attackers. He was born in Paris suburbs and was raised there.
  • 16 Nov 2015 Authorities are searching for Salah Abdeslam (a Belgian-born Frenchman) who is suspected of being involved in the attacks. According to reports, raids took place in Grenoble and Toulouse, Jeumont, Jeumont, and the Paris suburb, Bobigny. This contradicts previous official information which stated that all of the attackers were dead.
  • 17 Nov 2015 Metrojet Flight 926: Russia's Federal Security Service has announced that the plane was struck by a bomb. (The Guardian, (Reuters) Russian President Vladimir Putin promises retribution for those who were responsible for the plane's destruction last month. Putin orders the Russian Navy and the French Navy to coordinate military operations against Syria. The Russian Federal Security Service offers $50 million bounty to the bombers.
  • 18 Nov 2015 The Moro conflict: Najib Razak, the Malaysian Prime Minister condemns Abu Sayyaf, a Philippine-based terrorist group's execution of a Malaysian citizen. Bernard Then, a businessman, and a woman were abducted in May from the Malaysian-island Sabah. The woman was freed last week. According to the Philippine Colonel RestitutoPadilla, the killing was caused by a failure in negotiations over money. (ABC), AFP via Yahoo!
  • 19 Nov 2015 China promises to "bring to justice” those responsible for execution of a Chinese hostage after the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant claimed it killed one of its citizens. China's Foreign Ministry confirms for the first time the identity of the hostage, naming him Fan Jinghui.
  • 20 Nov 2015 French offer to use its airbase facilities in Cyprus for bombing the Islamic State of Iraq (ISIL) and the Levant in Syria. British and Canadian airforces have already used Cypriot airbases for military operations.
  • 21 Nov 2015 Belgium raises terror alert to the highest level in Brussels. Soldiers are deployed on the streets of major Belgian cities like Brussels, Antwerp, and Ghent. The emergency measures include advising residents of Brussels to avoid crowds. This includes concert venues, train stations and airports.
  • 22 Nov 2015 2015 Nepal fuel crisis: Nepalese Police open fire on protestors who blocked a highway in protest of the new constitution. At least 28 people were injured and two protestors were killed, with 15 police officers among them. Rajbiraj was the headquarters of the Saptari district, where a third protester was also killed.
  • 23 Nov 2015 Maguindanao massacre: Six years after the killing of around 58 people in Maguindanao (Mindanao), human rights activists and the families of the victims have decried the lack of justice. They criticize President Benigno Aquino III of the Philippines for not bringing the case to a close.
  • 24 Nov 2015 Sinai insurgency: November 2015 Sinai Attack: One day after the close of the second round of parliamentary election, militants attacked a hotel that houses election judges in al-Arish, Egypt's North Sinai provincial capital. Seven people have been killed, and twelve others are injured, including two judges. The Islamic State's Wilayat Sini branch claims responsibility.
  • 25 Nov 2015 Insurgency in Jammu & Kashmir: Insurgents attack a base of the Indian Army in northern Kashmir. At least three of the attackers are killed.
  • 26 Nov 2015 Russian Sukhoi Su-24 Su-24 shooting down in 2015: Turkish military releases audio recordings that it claims are warnings given to a Russian Sukhoi Su-24 aircraft before it was shot down close to the Syrian border.
  • 27 Nov 2015 One person was killed and many others were injured during clashes between soldiers of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force and police.
  • 28 Nov 2015 An attack on a United Nations peacekeeping station in Kidal (northern Mali) results in at least three deaths. The jihadist group Ansar Dine claims responsibility. (Euronews),
  • 29 Nov 2015 Russian military intervention in Syria's Civil War: According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Russian airstrikes killed at least 18 civilians in Ariha in Syria’s northwestern Idlib region and injured dozens more. The Army of Conquest is the rebel alliance of mainly Islamist organizations, including al-Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra Front, who controls Idlib. (Reuters),
  • 30 Nov 2015 Paris attack aftermath: French intelligence agencies are believed to be operating under the theory Salah Abdeslam, the Paris attacker, has fled to Syria despite 3 countries having declared martial law.
  • 05 Nov 2015 An iron ore tailings dam bursts in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, flooding a valley, causing mudslides in the nearby village of Bento Rodrigues and causing at least 17 deaths and two missing.
