  • Bush Condemns Abu Ghraib Prison Abuse President George W. Bush spoke out about the Al Arabiya Arabic-language TV networks, stating that he was appalled at the behavior of U.S. soldiers in Abu Ghraib, an Iraqi prison.
  • Georgian Political Transition Aslan Abashidze, President of the separatist Georgian republic Ajaria, is forced to resign by Mikhail Saakashvili, Georgia's president.
