  • 03 Aug 2000 After more than 100 people besieged the house of a block allegedly housing a paedophile, riots broke out on the Paulsgrove estate, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. This is the latest act of vigilante violence against suspected sexual offenders since the anti-paedophile campaign of the tabloid newspaper "News of the World" began.
