  • Thai police claim John Mark Karr has admitted to the murder JonBenet Ramsey. After the press conference, Karr told reporters that he was there with the child when she died and didn't intend to kill her.
  • As part of the ceasefire agreement, Lebanese troops are deployed south of the Litani River in Lebanon.
