- William E: "Bill" Gibb; Scottish fashion designer.
- Larry Winters: Scottish murderer who is portrayed by actor Ian Glen in the film "Silent Scream." Winters was convicted in 1964 for the murder of a barman in London. He was given a life sentence plus an additional 15 years for an attempted murder while in prison and two further years for a prison riot. He died in 1977 of a drug OD.
